Pawan Kalyan’s latest film Atharintiki Dharedhi is on the right track to take the box-office by storm and majority of the critics have given it a big thumbs up. Directed by Trivikram Srinivas, the film has Pawan Kalyan, Samantha, Pranitha Subhash, Nadiya, Boman Irani in lead roles. The film narrates the story of Gautham Nanda, the scion of a billion-dollar empire in Europe, who goes to his aunt’s house in India to reunite her with his family. It’s a complete Pawan Kalyan’s film from start to finish and it’s one of those rare films where nothing else matters. Going by the reviews so far, it’s clear that it’s a Pawan Kalyan’s show all the way and more importantly, a clear sign that entertainment is the key parameter to impress the audience. So, here’s what some of the critics had to say about the film :

Article-2‘s Jeevi praised Pawan Kalyan in his glowing review of the film saying, ” The character of Gowtam Nandan has given him (Pawan Kalyan) a chance to exhibit his full range of acting and entertaining skills. He has given his career best performance in the climax of this film. Entertaining crowds comes naturally to him and he delivers the finest entertainment in this movie. His dance movements are entertaining and hilarious in some songs (especially Kevvu Keka baba song).”

Article-3‘s JP called Atharinitiki Dharedhi, a laugh out loud and blissful entertainer and said, “Writer and director Trivikram’s strength has always been arresting the audiences with emotional sequences apart from entertaining dialogues. In post interval scenes and climax sequences, we spot his mark. But in this film, he worked more on entertainment than emotional aspects. It is Pawan Kalyan’s show all the way. He is in his elements. Changing modulation, body language for better impact of comedy, going hyper when necessary, being restraint in emotional scenes… he got it right here.  He enlivens the proceedings with cool presence in dull sequences too. His performance in emotional scene in the penultimate sequence shows the maturity that he has attained in acting. This easily ranks one of his best performances in his career.”

Article-1(1)‘s Mahesh Koneru praised the performances from the lead cast, especially Pawan Kalyan, saying, “Pawan Kalyan is simply outstanding in AD. He is stylish and he has good energy levels in this movie. But more than all that, Pawan Kalyan’s emotionally charged performance in the climax sequence is something that will have a very strong impact. Pawan carries the simple and linear story line on his shoulders and takes the film to another level. Samantha is very cute in the movie and she looks gorgeous as always. She has a limited role in the first half, but gets prominent placement in the second part. Her scenes with Pawan Kalyan are adorable. Praneetha looks good, especially in the Bapu Gari Bomma song.”
